Paulo was the best guide, he explained so much about the history and is really passionate about it. Timing was perfect for seeing all the sights, his driving skills were perfect for the narrow streets of Sintra. I couldn‘t have hoped for a better experience, he even shared some tips with me for my upcoming trip to Porto. Paulo was amazing we had a day trip to Sinatra and we had the best time ever. The information he gave us and the detail to the stories made this whole 8 hour trip amazing. He covered the history of the whole tour. He kept my 5 year old involved too which was amazing to see. His van was very clean and spacious his driving skills was amazing too he kept us safe timings was perfect and the best part he dropped us back off to the hotel. We’ve just spent a great day visiting Sintra with our guide and driver Paolo. While Peña Palace was spectacular (and cold - we were there in November), the highlights for us were the Regaleira and the Park and Palace of Montserrat - truly unique. Paola even demonstrated the great acoustics of Montserrat’s main hall with a rendition of Amazing Grace (the man can sing!). And his knowledge of those sites in particular and the area around Lisbon in general was encyclopaedic - he made the trip for us. We liked that despite other tours available in Lisbon, we managed to see Pena early in the morning when it’s less crowded and pleasant to visit. Also, we visited Monserrate which other tours are not including it in their itinerary (really beautiful and underrated). Our tour guide, Paulo, was very friendly, funny, he shared a lot of interesting facts with us and was very engaged with the group.
